Day One.
We had to drive (yes from singapore)
ALL the way to MERSING.
[4 hours!! o_o]
*blah*
getting carsick there.
THEN we took the 2- hour ferry ride to Tioman island.
*BLAH-BLAH-BLAH*
Already seasick.
THEN there was a 10- minute bumpy ride up the hill to our chalet.
******************* go figure.
The chalet was a teensy- bit shabbier than a hotel suite but still:
we had a telly.
we had air-conditioning.
we had mini fridges.
we had water-heaters.
[our chalet was "berjaya", which is the one that costs lotsa $$$.
imagine how the "normal" would be.
like kampung huts maybe.]
Anyway, we smothered on sunscreen and had a dip in the "poole".
Then we went to check out the sea.
O.M.G. it was damn clean and sparkly.
Even with the waves, me & dad & lil' bro went in the water and saw...
LITTLE FISHIES!!!
SWIMMING IN THE WATER!!
SO CUTE!!
We lunched on KFC (eww the iced lemon tea tasted like plum tea)
afterwards for dinner we had our own
"bei mian"
Yummee.
Then afterdinner we watched a lot of tellyvision.
Then..around 12+?
My dad said that we should go down to the beach and look for treasure.
"...just something that shines back when you shine at it."
he said it was some sort of..coral?
Well, we went and left my little sister sleeping inside.
she didn't really want to go.
..................(1/2 an hour later)
so sad didn't find anything.
